Using Sand Clocks to help players Grind

Recently Plarium again said it is impossible to speedup RAID. While many players believe that Plarium is lying, here is a concept proposal that can be used to help RAID players grind without speeding up the game:

Using Sand Clocks to help players Grind

  • Each earned Sand Clock expires in 24 hours - the reason for this condition is to cater to those people who don't want players to move gear around.
  • Earn 1 Sand Clock every 3 completed runs - the number of runs can be adapted as needed. Lower value would be more player friendly.
  • All areas have a separate Sand Clock counter - this is to prevent abuse of running campaigns and using fast earned Sand Clocks in other locations. When each area has it's own dedicated Sand Clock counter then there is no abuse.
  • 1 Sand Clock allows 1 instant-complete helping to save time for tens of thousands of RAID players.

Explanation of why my proposal is better than Super Raids:

  1. Super Raids are turned off by default and we have to wait until they allow us to use them. That also means if they are in a "bad mood" or "busy" they can just not turn them on.
  2. Even when they are turned on, they only work for 1 dungeon while player may wish to do other dungeons as well (e.g. Minotaur, potions, special event dungeon).
  3. Super Raids do not exist in all parts of the game.
  4. Double-runs is usually not matching exactly the number of runs we need.
  5. Even if Super Raids logic was copied to Campaign it would not allow the most efficient way of leveling when an efficient players runs X of one difficulty and X of another difficulty to max out champions.
  6. Super Raids would not work for those players who 1-key complete Clan Boss.

Whereas the proposal I made here gives maximum choice to the players who can run exactly the number of runs they need in the different parts of the game and without having to wait for them to turn it on.

Clan Boss time saving idea that costs nothing

Here is a very simple Clan Boss time saving idea that costs nothing and is a win-win for everyone.

A simple button to apply previous score by using a Clan Boss key instead of having to burn phone batteries / mindlessly running an already established CB Team for the thousandth time.

If there is a concern about people doing it 1 time and then removing equipment from champions then this is easily solvable but putting a limit such as allowing the button 3-5 days after any manual run and greying it out afterwards.

My Assessment of RAID: (by Feature) Ranking after completing features 100+ times

I decided to prepare a score card ranking different RAID features by Enjoyment, Time Spent and Rewards - I share this with you here.

Naturally, this is my own subjective experience and time estimations and other players may have other experiences.

Please see the ranking below; if the picture is small on your screen click on it to enlarge. And feel free to share your own experience.

Star & Alphabet line for RAID players - Quality of Live improvement suggestion

There are so many basic things missing in RAID it's sometimes pretty shocking. Here I suggest one improvement which creates a lot of frustration for players.

  • Having to scroll to the right a million times when training champions
  • Looking for a specific champion among hundreds

Finding champions

Often we search for a specific champion to check or to equip / set masteries. This can be annoying when players have hundreds of champions. A simple Star & Alphabet line as shown on the picture below would make that much easier.

Leveling up Food champions

Very frequently in RAID players have to train champions / level up food champions. Every single time RAID's badly made game design forces players to scroll multiple times to the right until they reach the food champions.

This is extremely annoying.

A Star & Alphabet line / filter, as shown in the picture below, would completely solve this problem showing only the champions you want with 1 tap or click:

I know that many RAID players say it is pointless to make suggestions since Plarium does not give a damn, but I try.

RAID Shadow Legends Advanced Settings by COSMOS

Sometimes small improvements can bring a lot of benefit to players such as these RAID Shadow Legends suggestions:

RAID Advanced Settings

Sooner or later all players reach their inventory limit (currently 1000 items). Clearing equipment is an absolute nightmare in RAID Shadow Legends.

One of the largest and most annoying obstacles is upgrading equipment one by one to +8 or +12 in order to be able to make the decision to keep or sell.

While changing the entire rotten system would take too much effort, implementing a simple auto-upgrade as shown in the picture below would be extremely fast and easy and save MANY hours time for tens of thousands of players.

Many other Advanced Settings could be added, these are just several suggestions.

Advanced Settings can also be locked until a player reaches a certain level or finishes beginner activities to make sure that new players don't make any mistakes.
