PROs & CONs of Michinaki Summon Rush Event

The Michinaki Summon Rush Event is a highly anticipated (Guaranteed) event in RAID. As with any event, there are both advantages and drawbacks to participating. In this blog post, we will explore the pros and cons of the Michinaki Summon Rush Event and provide a conclusion to help you decide if it's worth taking part in.

PROs:

  • Michinaki is an impressive and effective champion, making the event attractive for players seeking to add the champion to their roster.
  • After accumulating 10,000 points in the event, players are guaranteed to get the champion, adding an element of certainty to the experience.
  • Players have the flexibility to use various types of shards throughout the event, allowing for diverse approaches (e.g. using a varied mix).
  • Players have the option to save the fragments for later, for example, to get extra points for CvC or Champion Chase event.
  • Players also technically recover the last pulled shard versus previous Guaranteed Events where the last shard would be the "lost".
  • The Summon Rush event offers additional rewards, which can further incentivize participation.

CONs:

  • The event comes with a steep price tag, equivalent to the cost of 20 Sacred Shards, which might be prohibitive for some players.
  • Info: previous Sacred events: Helior, Wythir, Kyoku, Nekmo: 15; Sicia 12; Elva 20 shards.
  • In the past, sometimes - not always, Player would get both the full rewards from Summon Rush and the separate Guaranteed Lego event. Or there was another overlapping event. e.g. They did not put Michu in the last slot or a new separate slot. So now the top four rewards are replaced with fragments, diminishing the overall value.
  • The event does not overlap with Fusion, and there are no other concurrent events to maximize potential benefits.

Conclusion:

While there are several drawbacks to the Michinaki Summon Rush Event, RAID players should strongly consider participating depending on a player's resources and objectives. If you can afford the high cost and are eager to acquire Michinaki as a champion, it might be a valuable opportunity to seize. However, consider the potential downsides before fully committing to the event, as it may not be as rewarding as previous iterations.
