What's new in super short:
Boss is now immune to HP Burn (actually heals from it) and Turn Meter manipulation effects. However, killing the little spiderlings strongly damages the boss.
Specific Tips:
- Everything is upside down now compared to the past.
- Probably the best way forward is to switch up strategies and kill spiderlings.
- AOE Decrease Defense + Weaken followed by your best smackdown.
- Anticipate to kill 2 waves of spiderlings for the boss to die.
- The little spiderlings are now immune to freeze, but we can do everything else to them including Stun.
- Players with weaker offensive capabilities will probably aim to control the spiderlings while killing them as fast as possible, while stronger players will just nuke it down.
- Since we are killing off the spiderlings then most likely Resistance will not be needed.
- Interestingly we will now be getting a big damage boost for having Awakened champions while also receiving less damage from the boss. But this is not something we can really plan for - it will be more effective to take the correct champions / gear than try to squeeze in an Awakened champion who might be less effective.
- Use your favorite mass nukage strategy:
- Pure damage (make sure to get the debuffs prepared: AOE Decrease Defense and AOE Weaken - if you have Lydia she can place both).
- Poison damage.
- Poison explosion.
- HP Burn might be possible only if the damage you output is faster than the boss's healing (e.g. Teodor's activations). We should test it out but perhaps this is not the best option.
- And in terms of control we always have:
- AOE Slow (e.g. Psylar).
- Stun skills (e.g. Scyl).
- Stun sets (even multiple).
- AOE TM reduction (e.g. Deacon).
General Tips:
- Energy cost is expected to remain at 20 Energy per run. That means we should try to do the highest stage we can. Exception:
- For events like Dungeon Divers and Tournament Points, we know already that Stage 25 is extremely inefficient, so it might unfortunately happen that we still have to go back and do Stage 20 or Stage 24 for those.
- Boss stats unknown yet, but:
- the requirements are expected to be higher: probably 350 Accuracy and if Resistance is needed, also around 350-450.
- and the speed of the boss is expected to be still below 200 (it would be too hard if they were also very fast).
- Boss multipliers / damage done are unknown yet.
