Info/Tips @ Tainted Fyro ( Hard Fire Knight's Castle)

What's new in super short:

2 MASSIVE changes: shield almost doubles from 12 to 21 + he becomes immune to Turn Meter reduction! BUT ANY freeze reduces his TM by 15%.

Specific Tips:

  • So straight away you want to have plenty of freeze to control his turn meter.
  • We don't really want him to take turns (although it might be possible) because he will put back up his 21 shield + smack everyone + reduce everyone's Max HP by 15%. So we will have to break the shield again which comes with a penalty of losing 1% Max HP.
  • This 1% is PER HIT! So if you smack his shield 5 times you will get your HP reduced 5 times! Which again tells us we don't want him to put his shield back up = bring freeze.
  • Interestingly we will now be getting a big damage boost for having Awakened champions while also receiving less damage from the boss. But this is not something we can really plan for - it will be more effective to take the correct champions / gear than try to squeeze in an Awakened champion who might be less effective.
  • So we have to completely change our teams:
    1. Alure-type TM reduction teams will no longer work!
    2. Our teams have to be FAST and bring many hits to bring that shield down.
    3. Many hits can be accomplished ideally with an Ally Attack instead of Counter-Attack/Reflect because the latter requires him to attack us which, as mentioned above, we are trying to avoid.
    4. And if we are using Ally Attack then we would ideally want someone who has Freeze on A1! Have a look at all the champions you own who have freeze (if you are using RSL Helper you can easily filter this in the Champions tab).
    5. If the Freeze you have is not on A1 then also look at champions who reduce skill cooldown so that your freeze champion can go again and again with freeze.
    6. Also consider Relentless set / Reflex set on your Freeze champ.
    7. MVP champion expected to be Yakarl! Possible to obtain for free from the Clan Shop. ​​​​​​​

General Tips:

  • Energy cost is expected to remain at 20 Energy per run. That means we should try to do the highest stage we can. Exception:
  • For events like Dungeon Divers and Tournament Points, we know already that Stage 25 is extremely inefficient, so it might unfortunately happen that we still have to go back and do Stage 20 or Stage 24 for those.
  • Boss stats unknown yet, but:
    • the requirements are expected to be higher: probably 350 Accuracy and if Resistance is needed, also around 350-450.
    • and the speed of the boss is expected to be still below 200 (it would be too hard if they were also very fast).
  • Boss multipliers / damage done are unknown yet.
