FTP Guide - Preparing for the new Soulstone Events

When the Awakening system came many players who know RAID/Plarium well (Wait Shadow Legends) were discussing about saving Soulstones. In the 9 September Raid Digest Plarium told the players that they will not launch new Soulstone events at the beginning but indicated that they could come after "several fusions" (picture below).

The Fusions

So after the Awakening system we had:

  • September Fusion of Ukko - now finished and most players have used all their Soulstones, so I'll assume this is where we are right now with Zero Soulstones saved up.
  • October Fusion of Maranix - already announced.
  • November Fusion - TBD
  • December Fusion - TBD

When we should expect the new SoulStone Events

As "several" usually means more than 2 (but not many) then we should not expect the new Soulstone events to come during October Maranix fusion.

But they could show up sometime in November or most probably in December (for example for Christmas).

This means that we have either 2 months or, more likely, almost 3 months to prepare (= gather and wait) for the new events.

How many Soulstones do we earn per Month

As this is primarily an FTP guide then without keys we should expect to earn approximately 25000 coins or 25 Mortal Soulstones if we do the Iron Twins every single day without exception (double that if you spend gems for keys).

Then I estimate approximately 7 more per week from Hydra making it 28 Mortal Soulstones per month estimated income from Hydra (this varies depending on how well you perform at Hydra).

Adding those 2 and rounding conservatively we get 50 Mortal Soulstones per month.

And that means that if we stop using any Soulstones immediately and start gathering we would have 100 by end of November and close to 150 by end of December, which I think will be barely enough for the new Soulstone event.

What they could do

We can roughly guess what the new Soul event will be and we know that Plarium values Mortal Soulstones approximately at the same value as an Ancient Shard, which, of course, players do not agree with but they never gave an F about what players think.

  • If they do a Guaranteed Lego-type of an event then they would require us to use 120-150 Mortal Soulstones which is how many Ancient Shards were required for different champions. We might just barely have enough if we start gathering immediately.
  • Note: it does not matter for gathering purposes if the reward will be a guaranteed 6 star Soul or whatever other reward, we are just trying to estimate how many they will require us to use in the event to get whatever the reward will be.
  • If they do a Summon Rush type of an event then there will be different rewards depending on how many Soulstones are used with crappier rewards in the first half and "Lego book" level rewards on the top side - such as Immortal and Eternal Soulstones perhaps in the top rows. In these type of events it's usually not worth doing a little bit- we should go all in or save up further. Here they could request the equivalent of 15 Sacred Shards - that's up to 300 Mortal Soulstones... I hope they don't ask for so much.

So the target for people who want to prepare, I think, should be to gather a minimum of 150 Mortal Soulstones, which is not an easy task at all and requires us to start saving up immediately.
